Remember, each baby is different and it may take a few attempts to get the perfect fit......

It might sound obvious.... but dont forget to stuff with at least one insert in the pocket.

Cloth nappies sit a little lower than disposables, so when putting on keep the back of the nappy inline with the hips and not too far up the back.

bring the front under and ensure the elastic on the nappy (not the interior gusset!) is sitting in the knicker-line and not down the thighs at all.

smooth the front and sides down on the front and bring around the side, doing up the hip snaps.

adjust the front snaps for sizing

When adjusting the sizing snaps on the front fold should be going up - towards the top edge of the nappy - not facing down.

The general rule is no gaps around the thighs but a gap at the waist is ok - you dont want there to be a muffin top or the nappy is too tight.

Practise makes perfect, just like with a disposable, and if you are having any trouble with fit you can contact us on alittleyay@gmail.com.

Double stuff

To use the nappy as a true pocket

nappy simply pop both inserts one on top of another into the pocket.

Choosing this method will make the

most of the stay dry lining as the bamboo is more for absorbing and

will not wick away moisture as

efficiently as suede cloth.

Snap in

To use as an Ai2 style simply popper

the hourglass inserts onto the press studs on the inside of the nappy and stuff

the rectangular insert into the pocket.

Snap and fold

as with the snap in, popper the hourglass

insert onto the nappy and fold forward

as the above image. Stuff the

rectangular insert into the pocket

This provides an extra boost of

absorbency to the front

(useful particularly for baby boys!)

fit 'like pants'

Our nappies are designed as birth to potty nappies. You may find that as your baby grows the way that they will wear the nappies changes as their body shape does.

It may seem like your baby is going to outgrow their nappy far before potty training if they are already on the second rise by 6 months however do not worry!

This video guide to fitting like pants is just an option to try if you are concerned about size, or if you are having any trouble getting a good leg seal.
